Nilvara began at a wooden sorting table in Ratnapura, where our grandfather washed gravel by lamplight. Three generations later we still buy at the source - but now we bring those stones directly to buyers across the world, without the middlemen who once stood between.
We buy where the stones come out of the ground - the Ratnapura and Elahera gem fields - not from a dealer three cities away. Fewer hands, fairer prices, real provenance.
Every stone is graded by GIA or CSL - never by us. If a lab disagrees with our listing, the lab is right and we refund. Trust is the only thing we can't re-cut.
No cart, no checkout. A gem is a decision, not an impulse. We'd rather answer your questions properly than process a transaction quickly.
